Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of terms and conditions.

By agreeing to a quote from myself, the Client accepts these terms and conditions unless otherwise stipulated in writing.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all invoices are to be paid in GBP by bank transfer or through an online payments platform within 30 days of the Client being invoiced.

Should the Client fail to pay an invoice within the outlined period, I reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices under the terms set out in the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as amended and supplemented by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002.

Storage of work

Unless otherwise agreed, I will keep files for as long as necessary. Typically for the duration of a project. If you, the Client, would like files removed from my systems earlier than I have planned, just advise, and i'll happily oblige.

Files are stored in the cloud (OneDrive) protected by a password and two-factor authentication (e.g. a code sent to my mobile for access). This is so both myself and you, the Client, can rest easy knowing any work is stored safely, securely and with version history.

Terms of work

The Client will pay the fee quoted for their specific project and will receive the work as per the agreed schedule unless:

At an early stage of the work commencing, it becomes apparent that more work is required than anticipated in our preliminary discussion. In this case, I will work with the Client to renegotiate a fair price for the required work

Liability/Responsibility

I do my utmost to ensure all files are correct and free of errors; however, I can offer no guarantee of this. I cannot be held responsible for direct, indirect or consequential losses or costs incurred by any errors remaining in your work, be they factual or related to spelling or grammar. Responsibility, liability and copyright for the file rest with the Client.

In no way do I endorse the contents of Client files and do not assume responsibility for any threatening, defamatory or obscene material contained therein, any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights arising from there, any crime facilitated thereby or any subsequent use thereof upon completion of work by me.
